I haven’t always been a trainer, or particularly fit for that matter. For several years I was living in NYC, on the corporate path leading to who-knows-where. Meanwhile, I was falling completely in love with fitness and nutrition, hitting the gym at 5:30 every morning, and prepping meals to take with me to work. It was serious. Somewhere along the way my husband and I moved to London, England, forcing me to re-think my own career, and voila! Here we are!
I started this blog while living in London just to journal about my own experiences in fitness and nutrition, but it has now become something much more than that! Nowadays I use my education and personal experiences to educate others and help them map out their own path to health. I specialize in utilizing weights and metabolic circuits to help women achieve the strong, shapely bodies that they desire. In addition to that, I teach them how to balance fitness and healthy nutrition with their busy lives, without feeling overwhelmed and bored with lackluster and ultra-low-calories diets. After all, there’s more to life than dieting and working out… (like wine… and chocolate.)
A few additional tidbits about me: I’m originally from Chapel Hill, NC and I have a bachelor’s degree in Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I’m an Army wife. I have two dogs who are essentially my babies. I love traveling and seeing new places, but I’m also a sucker for lounging in my pajamas around the house. And as you may have gathered, I have a penchant for wine and desserts.
