…is what happens when I have too much coffee on a Sunday morning. This is not a term you can “Google,” as my husband found out.
That’s because I either made it up or heard it from my mother.
If you think of the term “waterlogged,” which means ‘soaked or saturated with water,’ well, it’s the same as that except replace water with coffee.
During the week I’ll usually just have two cups of coffee in the morning before my walk and workout, but on Sundays my husband and I generally spend more time lounging around the house so I might have an extra cup or two. I’m really not a fan of being “coffee-logged.” It doesn’t feel good. It actually makes me feel the opposite of what I would normally feel like with just two cups of coffee. With the normal two cups I feel awake and energized. Once I hit three cups I become lazy, lethargic, and start having feelings of exhaustion even while I’m drinking the coffee. Two cups is definitely my ‘sweet spot’ and I plan to keep it that way.
